Synopsis:
The ox is waiting in the cave while the tieflings decide whether to return to the road or not. He has been watching the druids in the grove below, and how they can change into any form they wish. He's wistful and sulky, wishing he could change his own shape from an ox to something less subservient.
He can give us a hint about an item stashed in his hay.
3. : I have no more to say. Even old hay tastes better than your idle chatter.devnoteDEN_General_HasMet_Mule1, PETPALEnd
6. : Another one. What are you under there, then? Ant? Aurochs?DEN_General_HasMet_Mule1
23. Player: What are you talking about?
16. : The keepers of this place. They change their form to fit their need.
4. : They become birds, to hunt on the wing. Bears, to tear flesh with teeth. But for me - only oxen. Only same old hay.
26. : And I cannot even eat it, because the horned ones hide their shiny bits inside.
22. Player: 'Shiny bits'? The tieflings put something in your hay?
27. : Hiding things, thinking they are clever. Not clever.
14. : Sometimes I eat the shiny bits, and they have to go looking for them on the other end.DEN_General_Knows_HayChestEnd
10. Player: Cheer up - you do a noble thing, carrying burdens for those who can't.
2. : Hmph. When the horned ones leave this place, I will lie in the back, and you will pull. Noble one.End
0. Player: You complain a lot.
9. : Your kind give us your burdens. But who will carry ours?End
12. Player: Maybe you could learn to change as we druids do.DRUIDGLO_DEN_General_Mule1_AskedAboutTwoLegs
25. : Yes. Yes. I would change into a two-legs like you. But how?
13. Player: Meditation - a lot of it.
21. : You mean when the keepers stand and sleep, all at once? My kind learned to do this long ago.
17. : Perhaps we are the true keepers. I will learn to walk on two legs, friend. Then perhaps I will teach them.End
19. Player: Surely you could pick a better form than mine.
7. : It is not the form - it is the freedom. Your kind walk free, and other beasts carry your burdens.
1. : To live like you, I could learn to be ugly.End
5. Player: You'll never be like me.
8. : No - I will be better. I have studied the keepers here.
18. : One day, I will stride as you do. And perhaps you will carry my burdens.End
15. Player: Leave.End
24. Player: Aurochs describes me well, yes.
28. : Big, and slow? The keepers of this place choose different forms. Better ones.
11. Player: Ant? Are you calling me small?
30. : If you do not like your form, then choose another. That is what the keepers of this place do.
29. Player: Maybe I'm an ox too.
32. : You have the smell - but I do not think so. You are not like the keepers here.

31. : Hmmm - away. I dream of two-legs. Hmmmmmmmm.devnoteDEN_General_HasMet_Mule1, DRUID, PETPALEnd
