Synopsis:
The player meets Balthazar, the necromancer, in his temporary command centre in the Shar temple. They find him at an altar, repairing one of his damaged undead, while other minions bustle around. Balthazar has been sent by Ketheric Thorm to recover Nightsong, but has been unable to clear a path to her vault. He decides to recruit the player, upon recognising them as tadpoled. The player can agree or decline, and can possibly persuade him to loan his flesh golem to aid their exploration.
