    Synopsis:

This dialogue covers instances where Gale attends the Withers party in a human (non-god) form.

His default state is that he returned to Waterdeep and became a professor of Illusory magic at his former school, Blackstaff Academy. General vibe here is that this a Gale who's found peace with himself - he's a great teacher, one his students are mostly in awe of.

If he's not a teacher in Waterdeep, he could be in several other states (living in Baldur's Gate, living in the hells, living in the underdark etc) but the general vibe is that he's always happy with where he's ended up, as in those cases he's there because that's where his romance partner chose to be.
