Synopsis:
Gale reclaimed the crown of Karsus but never learned the truth about the orb. As a result, when he retrieved the crown and attempted to wear it, crown and orb reacted badly to each other and the orb detonated, obliterating him from existence. At the Withers party, there's a magical projection of Gale there to deliver a final letter to the player he was closest to.
As a projection of Gale (tone-wise, please match the tone of other instances of his SpectralVoice) he's not overly upset by the factof his own death, but in his final moments there's a hint of how much the player meant to the real Gale.
