8. : Got a minute to tell me about your experience at the gate today?

32. : Sounds about right. They're not letting anyone through without the proper permissions - Lord Gortash's orders.devnote
3. : I've been sent down here by my editor at the Baldur's Mouth Gazette to cover the chaos at the gate.
2. : He wants some fluff piece about the heroic Steel Watch keeping the mob at bay - whether or not that's the truth or not.devnote
38. Player: And what do you think is the truth?
28. : That the refugees here are desperate, hungry, scared people. They're no mob - they just want to be safe.
31. : I've heard the rumours - Absolutists marching from Moonrise Towers, whole towns felled by strange curses. It's no wonder they ran.
4. : Of course, I can't write any of that. My editor only releases stories his friend Lord Gortash approves of, and he's very selective.

42. Player: I thought journalists were supposed to be impartial?
33. : We are, and I am. It's my editor who seems to have forgotten.
11. : Mr Needle's gotten pally with that Lord Gortash, and suddenly can't sing his praises highly enough.
26. : Seems like everything we write needs Gortash's approval. I can't recognise my own work by the time they're done 'editing.'
40. Player: That's appalling. So people in the city have no idea what's going on?
30. : Oh, they know some of it. Most would rather bury their heads in the sand anyway. Saves them the bother of feeling responsible.
14. : I'll try and get the truth across. Who knows, maybe a line or two will meet Mr Needle's approval. I won't be holding my breath.End
17. Player: I'd love to speak with your editor. Where can I find him?
25. : At the Gazette's print house. Though it's in the Lower City, so you'll need to get past the gates first.
1. : Come to think of it, you remind me of someone he was writing a piece about.
29. : You, er, might want to speak to him about that. Set the record straight before the ink is dry, so to speak.
19. Player: Sounds like you're printing Gortash's propaganda.
20. : Doesn't it just? devnote
16. : Of course we're off the record and this conversation never happened.devnote
18. : Now if you don't mind, I've got some edits to make.devnoteEnd
41. Player: Have you considered that perhaps you're just not a very good writer?
12. : I'm going to ignore that comment, because clearly you aren't taking any of this seriously.devnote

6. Player: Criticising the Steel Watch? That's not an opinion you hear often.
22. : If you read the Baldur's Mouth Gazette, it's an opinion you'll never hear. Lord Gortash makes sure of that.
45. : My editor Mr Needle was a brilliant journalist, but recently... well, now he's got friends in high places, he seems more interested in keeping them happy.
15. Player: And I'm not interested at all. Goodbye.End
37. Player: It was very good. The Fist were most accommodating.WYR_WyrmRock_SouthBridge_State_GainedAccess
5. : You're one of the lucky ones, then. Everyone else I've spoken to has been flat out refused - men, women, children, young and old. It's been chaos.devnote

43. : I'm Lens, roving reporter for the Baldur's Mouth Gazette. My editor's sent me to cover the drama out here at the gate.

27. Player: Why's security so tight?
24. : There was a skirmish a few days back - a band of Absolutists came close to entering the city. People started panicking, so the gate got closed.
21. : My editor at the Baldur's Mouth Gazette sent me down to get a first-hand account of the chaos.
39. Player: No comment.
36. : Aha. I see you don't trust journalists. Can't say I blame you.
23. : I'm not here to catch you out - I'm covering the closure of the gates for the Baldur's Mouth Gazette. My editor sent me.
9. : Sorry. Can't talk. I'm on a deadline.devnoteWYR_OrinsImpersonation_Hasmet_JournalistEnd
